![]() Add in the incredible rookie producer Araab Muzik and the Diplomats are still dropping some of the best material in the game. True hip hop fans should definitely check this out as even though he’s a kid, he’s incredibly talented and can definitely hold his own on a mic.Ĭam’ron & Vado – Boss of All Bosses 2 (and 2.5) – released Janu& May 12, 2010Ĭam’ron is still relevant after 13 years in the game, that’s an achievement, and with protégé Vado all types of hungry, this year has been busy for Dipset. Rapping like he’s been in the game for years I’m sure is the result of growing up with the Rev. This is grown man hip hop from a kid, spacey production and strong melodies on the hooks, but Diggy knows he’s still young even though that doesn’t stop him for coming correct. ![]() People have tried to claim he doesn’t write his own rhymes, but honestly you could say that about anyone, I think it’s just shock that little Diggy from MTV is spitting bars. This plays like an album, with solid guest appearances by Raekwon, Pharrell, Chris Brown and Lupe. He’s also consistent all the way through, which is rare, especially on a mixtape. The kid’s flow is incredibly strong, his lyrics are sharp, and he comes across with a confidence that his older brother certainly doesn’t have. That’s right, the teenage son of Rev Run and probably the biggest victim of being hated on without being heard, Diggy Simmons can SPIT. ![]() Diggy Simmons – Airborne – released September 10, 2010
